Dania Lazuk is a co-owner of Ethan Lazuk Consulting, LLC, where she helps with behind the scenes tasks and assists with certain services. She also works full-time as a healthcare staff recruiter.
Dania lives in Manhattan, New York, where she loves exploring the city’s architecture, appreciating art, and trying new foods.
Dania is married to Ethan Lazuk, her husband of 12 years. Their love story began 15 years ago at the University of Montana, where they met in the most unexpected way.
One day, they both decided to attend a class neither of them was enrolled in. It wasn’t planned, and neither had any idea that this spontaneous decision would change their lives.
During class, the professor asked everyone to participate in an Arabic language exercise. The assignment was simple: turn to the person next to you and say their name in Arabic using the phrase “so-and-so is next to me.”
When it was Dania’s turn, she looked at Ethan and, in front of the entire class, whispered, “Psst, excuse me, what’s your name?” He replied, “Ethan.” So she confidently said, “Ethan is bejanebe,” which means “Ethan is next to me.”
Little did she know that 15 years later, he would still be right next to her.
At the end of class, Ethan gave Dania his email address. Sometime later, they ran into each other on campus, and a friendship began. Over time, that friendship naturally blossomed into something more.
What started as an unplanned visit to a college classroom turned into a lifelong love story, all because two strangers happened to be in the same place at the right time.
Dania was an exchange student studying English, and he was an anthropology student studying Arabic.
Ethan is also the kind husband writing this amazing page, because Dania asked him to finish writing the rest. (That also means he can surprise her with what he says!) 😉
Her story
Dania Lazuk is a super impressive young lady! (Well, technically she’s a little older than me, but she’ll get mad if I include that. Oops.)
Dania comes from a large family with several sisters and a brother. They currently live in different parts of the world.
She was born and raised in the the Middle East, where she lived into her twenties. She attended college for computer science and had her first internship in a bank.
Her hobbies include learning new things about health and investing, watching all sorts of TV shows, and walking with our dog, Wuffiyah.
She’s also written some cool posts about natural beauty products on our Taste of Vegan website, which was a side project we did for fun a few years ago.
Dania also has certifications in digital marketing, and occasionally she spots cool new Google SERP tests or features. The SEO force is strong with this one!
