Wuffiyah is a dog and the third employee at Ethan Lazuk Consulting, LLC.

Her official job title will probably be, “Vibe Checker & Outdoor Activities Coordinator,” but we’re still negotiating her perk package. (Emotions run high when it comes to Trader Joe’s dog treats.)

This is her official employee page, which I, Ethan Lazuk, have been given permission to write.

Wuffiyah’s story

Wuffiyah was born on the streets of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. That’s also where she lived for the first portion of her life.

Dania’s dad, my father in law, found her sleeping in a tire as a puppy. He took her home, got her set up with a vet, and kept her well attended to ever since.

Eventually, Wuffiyah made her way to the United States. She’s lived with Dania and me on and off over the years, as well as with my father in law.

Today, she lives a few miles from us in downtown Orlando, but visits for weekend walks and sleepovers.

Her name, Wuffiyah, is Arabic for “loyalty.”

I always describe Wuffiyah as a “rescue dog” because she’s very much got that personality where she’s extremely kind yet doesn’t trust other dogs or strangers.

Her favorite place in the world is the backseat of our Prius, where she sticks her head out the windows and has staring contests with joggers.

She’s also a renowned hiker and surveyor of urban landscapes and plant life.
